MSU Denver has a number of resource offices on campus to support students in their studies. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but rather a small selection of opportunities available to those working on their degree.
The Classroom to Career Hub at MSU Denver is here to help you develop your unique career. They offer resources, appointments, and walk-in services to help you design and follow your career path. Check out a snapshot of some of the services the office provides:
- Individual hour or half-hour career counseling appointments
- Short, 15-minute walk-in sessions (for a quick review of resumes, cover letters and job search documents and for quick job search questions)
- Educational workshops to help you explore careers or execute a successful job search
- Small group workshops to interpret results from career assessments
- Career research resources

Balancing the demands of college life can be difficult. In addition to academic requirements, there are financial pressures, relationship issues, and job stressors that can leave you feeling beat up and worn out. The Counseling Center staff can help you find ways to manage difficult times and provide you with a comforting place to examine your life and learn more about yourself so you can realize your potential.
The MSU Denver Counseling Center assists students in the accomplishment of tasks that are essential to their personal and educational development. Programming is designed to facilitate students’ retention and graduation by providing quality, time-effective services, through individual, couples, and group counseling; outreach services; individual, organizational, and departmental consultation; crisis intervention; training; and research.

The Dean of Students Office provides support to students. They are committed to your safety and well-being and fostering a university community of integrity and respect. They act as MSU Denver’s hub for students who need support with personal matters or difficult situations impacting their university experience.
The Dean of Students Office can also help if you have been a victim of any type of misconduct, including harassment, stalking, or any other related crime. Other resources of help include:

- Sexual Misconduct/Title IX
- Disciplinary Records Policy
- Hearing Procedures
- Appeal Process
- Academic Integrity
Additionally, any member of the campus community can make a report if they have information regarding an individual’s violation of the Code of Conduct.

Students in MSU Denver’s Honors Program enjoy the benefits of a small community of engaged learners and exciting, dynamic instructors, while still having access to the substantial resources of MSU Denver and its vibrant, urban campus.
The Honors Program delivers an enriched and stimulating education to highly motivated and intellectually curious students by offering interdisciplinary and challenging courses that will provide students with a holistic view of the world. The MSU Denver Tutoring Center is not only for students who are having difficulty with the course material, but also for students who are looking to excel. Whether your goal is to catch up, keep up, or do better in your studies, the Tutoring Center is here to help you to achieve that goal by offering free one-on-one, or group academic support in a variety of subjects.

Get help at any stage of a writing project, from finding a topic to organizing the content to producing the final draft.
The Writing Center works with writers in all areas of study, at all levels, in all stages of their writing processes, and with all types of writing projects. They offers students resources for developing as writers and thinkers, sharing their work and ideas, and receiving thoughtful feedback on work in progress in a practical, friendly, collaborative environment. In our humble opinion, all students would benefit from working with a writing advisor.
